In many configurations, customers can test the float-based trigger path directly to verify alert delivery and system operation. Testing should always end with returning the float or trigger state to normal operating position.
BilgeMAX placement depends on bilge geometry and the earliest meaningful point at which water rise should be detected. In general, the float should be installed where it can detect the intended water event, while the connected sensor should be placed in the highest, driest, and most secure practical location appropriate for the boat.
